Dividend Policy & Payment
The Board of Directors approved at the 5/2007 meeting a change in the dividend policy, which earlier set the dividend payout ratio at 50% of after-tax profits as approved by the shareholders meeting. The change followed the alteration in the accounting measure, which is based on the cost method rather than the equity method. The Company's dividend payment ratio was changed to 50% of the non-consolidated net profits after legal reserves. The ratio is also set in accordance with the Company's financial status, liquidity, investment plans and other factors related to the operations.
The company's subsidiaries have dividend payout policy of at least 50% of unconsolidated net profit after deducting legal reserve. Besides, financial position, liquidity, business expansion and other factors related to the company's management are also taken into dividend payment consideration.
